About Breeding:
Pokemon breeders typically concern themselves with raising Pokemon for health and happiness, rather than for Pokémon battles. Many Pokemon breeders will raise and mate selected Pokémon to reproduce specific improvements in future generations of Pokemon. They would also take an interest in Pokemon grooming and nutrition.
Breeders will travel around the region to learn more about Pokemon and better ways to care for them, but it's not uncommon to see some staying in one place instead. Often times, people will see breeders accompanying trainers and coordinators and take care of their Pokemon as well as learn with them, but some breeders may ask for a fee to care for other Pokemon.
Most breeders breed and raise Pokemon in order to enter them in the Essential Breeder Association (EBA) breeder contests. These contests have four ranks of competition: Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Master. Most breeders dream of reaching the highest rank the EBA can offer, the legendary Master Breeder rank.
Breeder Rules:
XBreeders may only breed on their ranch a total of three times per week. Each Pokemon that breeds must wait one full week, or seven days, before they can breed again per ranch.
XEach breeding will only produce a single egg. However, there is a slight chance that a breeding may fail and produce no eggs.
XPokemon must share the same egg group to be able to breed with each other. Attempting to breed Pokemon of different egg groups may cause injury or illness to your Pokemon.
XEgg moves will follow the natural move sets of the games. We don't want Charmanders that know Hydro Pump running around.
XBreeding Pokemon will carry a small fee of 100P that a breeder must pay.
XNormal Pokemon eggs cannot be sold for more than 1000P per egg. There will be no set minimum on normal Pokemon eggs, however, and breeders will be able to set their own prices for eggs, so long as they stay in the limit. Shiny Pokemon will have a 2500P price cap instead of the normal 1000P due to their rarity.
XIf using another character's Pokemon for the breeding, that Pokemon must be in the character's storage. For example, Pokemon in a trainer's or coordinator's active party cannot be used for breeding. A breeder's Pokemon can be in the active party and still be bred.
XAll eggs will take a total time of seven days (1 week) to hatch after being laid. There is no option to instantly hatch an egg for the time being.
XAll ranches will be in their own thread.
Breeding Rare Pokemon"
XUnlike normal Pokemon, rare Pokemon can only breed once in their lifetime. Their offspring also take much longer to reach maturity, taking a full two months after hatching before they can breed.
XBreeding Rare Pokemon will carry larger fees of that the breeder must pay because of how unique and/or extreme the conditions must be to be able to breed them properly. The fee for fossil Pokemon is 500P, the fee for rare Pokemon are 1,000P and the fee for pseudo legendary Pokemon is a steep 5,000P.
XLike their breeding fees, the minimum and maximum prices will be a more expensive than normal Pokemon.
Fossil Rare Min. Price - 1,000
Fossil Rare Max Price - 1,500
Normal Rare Min. Price - 5,000
Normal Rare Max Price - 6,000
Psuedo Legendary Min. Price - 10,000
Psuedo Legendary Max Price - 15,000
XA Breeder may only have one rare Pokemon breeding on their ranch at once. This means that if a Dratini is bred on your ranch, another rare Pokemon may not breed again for the two month waiting period.
A list of all Pokemon considered rare can be found below:

Breeder Guidelines
While most travel the region in order to capture many different types of Pokemon, all breeders have a ranch where they store, care for and breed their Pokemon. These ranches are centered around the breeder ranches, where breeders have easy access to the Pokemon that their trainer and coordinator partners may have given them permission to use. They also have quick access to the lab in case their Pokemon get injured or fall ill. It is from these ranches that a breeder will run their businesses (If they decide to do so) and work towards their ultimate goal of becoming a Master Breeder. While characters will be allowed to set up their ranches to their liking, all ranches are required to have some basic information listed. The information is as follows:
-Name of the Ranch
-Description of your Ranch (Optional) (Describe how your ranch looks and works, its history if it has one, if it has a type speciality, ect.)
-Individual rules of the ranch (If you prefer to be contacted via PM to avoid clutter in your ranch, your policy on shiny Pokemon, prices of eggs, ect.)
-Prices (If they weren't listen in your rules)
-Affiliations (Contracts, deals or agreements you may have made with other breeders, trainers or coordinators)
-Pokemon on your Ranch (A list of Pokemon that are currently on your ranch, how long until they can breed again, and their breeding history [optional])
-Eggs and Pokemon you have for sale
-Sales history and/or statistics of Ranch (Optional)
Once you have your ranch all set up, you're free to get down to business. The process for breeding Pokemon is a simple few steps.
-The first step is to post a request for the pair(s) of Pokemon that you want to breed in your ranch thread. Remember to list all of their vital breeding information in your post (Species, Egg Group(s), Gender, Ability, Moveset and the Owner of the Pokemon)
-Once you've posted the breeding request, contact an admin or a breeding mod about your request. The staff you contacted will look over your request and grant you an egg per breeding pair (Or none if you're unlucky).
-Once the admin or breeding mod has given you your egg(s), you are free to put them up for sale or hatch and raise the offspring for further breeding.
Any ranch should be able to run smoothly and efficiently with this basic information.
