Trainers
Pokemon trainers usually have the goal to be the best of the best and become a Pokemon master, but to do that they must prove their worth in Pokemon battles. Trainers start off in any town or city in the region and must go around catching and training their Pokemon to their full potential. To be the best can prove to be challenging when having to face off against each other, but winning and losing are both necessary for a trainer.
Trainers must go to each gym in the region to battle in hopes to win a pokemon badge. They must defeat all eight gyms to collect all the badges they will need in order to qualify their entry into the league, where they can challenge the Elite Four. Once they beat all Four of the most elite trainers of the Region, they will be considered as the Region Champion and must defend this title against others strong Trainers.

Starting Guide
All beginning Pokemon trainers may freely choose a starting Pokemon as long as it falls under the categories below. The Pokemon will start at level 10 and know any of its respective moves up to that point, minus egg moves. From there on out it is up to the trainer to build a team of Pokemon to achieve their ultimate goal of becoming the region champion.
Pokemon Trainer Starters...
-- Must be the base form of a 3 stage evolutionary line. (e.g. Bulbasaur, Lotad, Starly.)
-- Cannot be part of a 3 stage evolutionary line which was originally 2 or 1 stage and was completed in a later game. This includes pre-evolutions and baby Pokemon. (e.g. Rhyhorn, Porygon, Duskull, Pichu.)
